The hardest braking point at the Spa-Franchorchamps circuit lies ahead of turn 7, Les Combes. The F1 driver has to brake down hard, decelerating by 220 km/h over just 119 metres. 2,549 kW of power are released in the process. The driver has to withstand 5.6 g, while pushing with 172 kg onto the brake.
