A dramatic finish to a dramatic race for Ayrton Senna in Montreal at the 1989 Canadian Grand Prix. One of Senna’s best ever performances in the wet despite the result which saw Senna not able to finish the race with a blown engine – after building up a lead of over 20 seconds! This is a perfect demonstration of why Ayrton Senna became known as the Rainmaster. He even made driving on slicks in the wet look easy!
