The Sauber Formula 1 team has confirmed that Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson will remain as its race drivers for 2016.
Swedish driver Marcus Ericsson joined the Swiss Sauber team from Caterham at the end of 2014 and scored a career-best eighth place with the team in Australia.
“I’m very happy that Sauber has put its trust in my potential for another year. Up to now I have some good memories of my first year with the long-standing Swiss team,” Ericsson told Motorsport.com
Brazilian rookie Felipe Nasr made the move up to Formula 1 from the GP2 series with solid performances in his 2015 season. “The extension to the contract with Sauber is an important step in my career,” Nasr confirmed to Motorsport.com
