Renault Sport F1 announced on Thursday 03 July that their President Jean-Michel Jalinier has decided to retire from the French engine manufacturer citing personal reasons.
From today, Jerome Stoll will take over the role as President of Renault Sport F1 in addition to his role as chief Performance Officer and Group Sales and Marketing Director.
Former Caterham Team Principal, Cyril Abiteboul will take up the role as Managing Director of Renault Sport F1. Abiteboul worked for Renault from 2001 to 2012. In 2007 he was named the Development Director of the Renault F1 team, he then took up the role as Executive Director in 2010.
In 2012 he was appointed as General Manager at the Caterham. Mid way through the season he was appointed as team principal after Tony Fernandez decided to leave to focus on other areas of his business empire.
