Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli revealed the tyre choices for the final three Grand Prix of the 2014 season.

The Yellow soft and White medium tyres will be nominated for the Circuit of the America’s in Austin Texas. The two compounds were chosen by Pirelli because of the combination of the fast corners and technical sections of the track. The soft and medium combination is the most common tyre choice of tyre selection this season. It will make its 7th appearance this season.

For Brazil Pirelli will bring the two hardest compounds at their disposal, the White medium and the Orange hard compound. Due to the high energy demands placed on the tyres, Pirelli feel that the medium and hard tyres is the ideal tyre choice for the short and twisty Interlagos circuit.

For the final race of the season the Red super soft and Yellow soft compounds were chosen. With the race being run in the evening and with falling track temperatures the super soft and soft compounds will put the focus on strategy. Pirelli have extensive knowledge of the Yas Marina Circuit as they have carried out lots of testing at the circuit prior to their entry into F1 and with one of the smoothest track surfaces of the year they feel that there is no better choice than the super soft and the soft tyre.
