The Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 team announced today that Bob Bell will step down from his position as Technical Director.

Bell resigned from his position in December 2013 and he will leave the team at the end of November 2014 with the intention of pursuing new challenges outside the company.

His position as technical director will not be replaced. Executive Director Paddy Lowe will assume the responsibilities previously held by Bell.
