The Red Bull show run comes to Cape Town on Sunday 2 June 2019 and with it the sights and sounds of an F1 car through the streets of the City Centre.
The event will start at 12:00 and will go on till 17:00. During that time fans will be able to experience what it’s like to be trackside when the Championship winning Red Bull RB7 Formula 1 car roars past them with the deafening sound of the high revving V8 engine. And who better to pilot the car around the the Grand Parade than non other that David Coulthard.
After spinning some donuts at Zandvoort, speeding down the streets of Budapest, and giving fans in Hanoi a taste of what’s to come when Formula 1 gets to their city in 2020, it is now Cape Town’s turn to experience the fun.
Entrance to the event is free and fans are encouraged to get trackside as early as they can to get a good vantage point. The smartest way to get down to the track is to hail a ride, hop on a myCiti bus, catch a train or taxi and head to Darling street.
It’s not just and F1 car that will be going around. There will be a host of other surprise acts on the track as well.
