2013 Belgian Grand Prix: Free Practice 3 Report

Sebastian Vettel again topped the time sheets in the third practice session ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.
Fernando Alonso finished the session in second place, only a tenth off Vettel’s time.
Jean-Eric Vergne put in a solid performance finishing the session in fourth place behind Mark Webber.
The Sauber team would have been happy with their session as Esteban Gutierrez finished in 7th behind There was some encouragement  Jenson Button who did surprisingly well to put his MP4-28 in sixth place.
Lotus and Mercedes did not do as well as expected with Romain Grosjean in 8th, ahead of Nico Rosberg and Kimi Raikkonen down in tenth.
A relatively incident free session with no punctures or tyre issues as were experienced in yesterday’s second practice session. Pirelli issued a statement this morning blaming metal debris for yesterday’s incidents.
