Fernando Alonso just pipped Lewis Hamilton to go fastest in FP2 ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix. Alonso’s Ferrari finished the session just 0.012 seconds ahead of Hamilton with a time of 1:14:818.

Rain stayed away for the session, threatening with only a few drops near the end of the session, giving teams a lot more running than they had during FP1.
