Jules Bianchi has been taken to hospital in an unconscious condition following a serious accident which ended the Japanese Grand Prix.
Adrian Sutil crashed at Dunlop Curve and a few minutes later, Bianchi crashed into the same corner.
Reports are that Bianchi hit the recovery vehicle which was deployed to remove Sutil’s Sauber.
According to FIA press officer Matteo Bonciani, “The driver is not conscious, he has been sent to the hospital by ambulance because the helicopter cannot go in these conditions. Further updates will follow – for the moment we cannot say anything. We will keep you updated as fast as we can.”
