Revised 2017 Formula 1 Calendar Released

The 2017 Formula 1 calendar was released after the World Motor Sport Council meeting in Vienna Austria on Wednesday 30 November 2016.

The season kicks of in Melbourne, Australia on 26 March 2017 and end in Abu Dhabi on 26 November 2017. There are a total of 5 back-to-back races with the customary 4-week summer break during August.

The revised calendar moves the European Grand Prix back a week to 25 June. This latest move avoids the clash with the 24 Hrs of Le Mans.

Other notable items on the revised calendar is that the German Grand Prix has been dropped and the Brazilian Grand Prix is listed at TBC.

The Singapore Grand Prix has swapped back with the Malaysian Grand Prix.
